Hi
Thanks for the reply. I wonder if it is my BIOS, Iam running latest 8.3 for this board but the 770T Bios does not have the settings that you show above. My BIOS has EC "Normal" and "Special" and when set to "Special" ACC Control has "Auto, All Cores and per Core. If I select All Cores I get a %reading from -2/-12 and +2/+12 and 0 also there is no entry Unlock CPU Core.

I will try to replicate it , but no I haven't come across this before... I woudl just say be sure that CPU-Z and AOD are up to date - because if it is showing in Device Manager you should see it in CPU-Z I would hope... maybe try Everest and see what it has to say about the processor?

Hi
Have MSI 770T-C45 Mobo and PhenomII 550BE

I have managed to unlock the 4 cores, but the system will only boot into Win XP Pro 64 SP 2 and run stable @3.6Ghz.

I have a separate HDD with Win 7 Premium 64 but when I boot into it CPU-Z does not recognize the extra 2 cores , neither does AMD Overdrive. Yet Win 7 Ctrl Panel Device Mgr shows 4 cores active. Have you come across this one before and if so how can it be rectified?
